# Project plan — public-quantivia.com

Evidence date: 2026-10-06.

Source repository: `git@bitbucket.org:overdrive/public-quantivia.com.git`.

Inspected revision: `master` at `9e3c6f2` (2020-08-27 08:47:37 +0000, author `root`, message **initial commit of full repository**). That is the only commit and the only branch (`origin/HEAD` → `origin/master`).

This plan describes what the repository contains. It does not decide what the product should become.

Prior Silicon Ark set for this directory: none. The scan-host path `~/projects/sonar_scan/repos/public-quantivia.com` was not on this machine. The tree was read from the git revision above.

Related Silicon Ark sets describe the Quantivia **application**, not this marketing site. They were not used as requirements for this site. They are named where the public pages point at that application:

- `silicon_ark/quantivia/` — application tree (`quantivia`, tip `c567977`, 2019-05-21)
- `silicon_ark/quantivia-clean/` — demo-site backup aimed at `demo.quantivia.com` (`quantivia-clean`, tip `808df0f`, 2019-06-12)
- `silicon_ark/quantiviaLive/` — live/online-oriented tree
- `silicon_ark/quantivia-svn/` — SVN-import tree that includes `auto_login.php`

## Product

The repository is the **public marketing website** for Quantivia, branded as project-management software for construction and mega-infrastructure work. The copyright line is **© Copyright 2016 Procon8**. The Eclipse project name in `.project` is `www.quantivia.com`.

**Documented** on `index.php`: Quantivia is "the end-to-end enterprise project management solution for helping organisations deliver faster, easier and smarter." The page slogan is **MEASURE | REPORT | DELIVER**. The same page says the software tracks scope, budget, and schedule in real time.

The Quantivia application (login, projects, deliverables, reports) is **not in this repository**. This tree is PHP page templates, static HTML, images, a Foundry-style front-end theme, and a contact-mail script.

Provenance: **Implemented** as a website. Product claims on the pages are **Documented** marketing copy. Whether those claims match the application in `silicon_ark/quantivia/` is **Requires Confirmation** where the two descriptions differ (see below).

## What this repository is not

| Expectation from the pages | What this repository contains |
|---|---|
| Downloadable Windows installer (`Quantivia_Setup.exe`, about 200 MB) | The binary is not in the tree. `download_thanks.php` links to `http://www.quantivia.com/Quantivia_Setup.exe` |
| Online credit-card purchase and license email (`support.php` FAQ) | No payment gateway, cart, or license issuer |
| Live product demo | `viewdemo.php` emails the sales inbox, then the browser is sent to `https://demo.quantivia.com/auto_login.php?demo=true`. That host is not this repo |
| Live status dashboards | Two iframes to `http://156.38.136.112:9090/publishPage.do`. The nav link is hidden |
| User accounts for customers | No login, session, or database |

## Branch reality

| Line | Tip | Date | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| `master` (default) | `9e3c6f2` | 2020-08-27 | One commit that imported the whole site. No earlier history is in git |

Several generations of the site sit side by side in that single commit:

| Tree | Role in this commit | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Repository root (`index.php`, `header.php`, `prices.php`, `mail/`) | Pages named by `sitemap.xml` and by the navigation | **Implemented** as the public site in this tree |
| `website_new/` | Earlier Foundry copy. Prices "Get Started" links are `href="#"`. Mail settings point at `www.procon8.co.za` port 25 and Swift-style config, not the root Amazon SES script | **Implemented** as files. Not linked from the root navigation |
| `returned/` | Older layout plus CSS backups dated August 2015 (`returned/css/bkp_13August2015_Akash_styles.css` and similar) | **Implemented** as files. Not linked from the root navigation |
| `index_new.php` | Older homepage that includes `testimonials.php`. Not in the root menu | **Implemented** as a file. Not the page `index.php` serves |

Which of these, if any, is what `www.quantivia.com` serves today is **Unknown / Requires Confirmation**. Git stopped on 2020-08-27.

## Major components

| Component | Path | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Public pages | `*.php`, `*.html` at the root | Marketing and lead capture |
| Theme | `css/`, `js/`, `img/`, `font/`, `fonts/` | Foundry-style Bootstrap theme (`theme-red.css`, `foundry_modal`) |
| Mail | `mail/mail.php`, `mail/lib/mail_sender.php`, `mail/vendor/` | PHPMailer over Amazon SES. AWS SDK 2 is vendored; the live sender does not call it |
| Alternate site | `website_new/` | Older page set and older mail config |
| Archive | `returned/`, `index_new.php` | 2015-era layout and an unused homepage |
| News | `news/`, `*newsletter.html` | Articles and 2016 HTML newsletters |

## Milestones visible in the files

These dates are labels inside the content or filenames. They are not git history.

| When | What the files say |
|---|---|
| December 2013 | Case study: Quantivia implemented on the Durban Resignalling Project (`durban_resignalling_project.php`) |
| August 2015 | CSS backups under `returned/css/` |
| May 2016 | "What's new" copy: Multiple Project Review (`index.php`, `demo.php`). `may2016_newsletter.html` |
| September 2016 | `september2016_newsletter.html`. News article date line "September 8th" (`news/contruction_project_management.php`) |
| March (year not stated on the filename alone) | `march_newsletter.html` |
| Copyright line | 2016 Procon8 (`footer.php`) |
| 2020-08-27 | Only git commit: full tree imported |

No roadmap, issue tracker, or future-work list is in the repository. Planned work is **Unknown**.

## Dependencies known from the tree

- PHP (Eclipse PHP nature in `.project`). Required version is **Unknown**.
- Composer packages under `mail/`: `phpmailer/phpmailer` `~5.2`, `aws/aws-sdk-php` `2.*` (`mail/composer.json`).
- jQuery 1.11.1 (`js/jquery.min.js`), Bootstrap JS, Flexslider, lightbox, Masonry, YouTube player, countdown, smooth-scroll, parallax.
- Google Fonts over `http://` (`header.php`).
- Google Analytics property `UA-82505981-3` (`analyticstracking.php`).
- LinkedIn Follow Company widget, company id `9295426` (`footer.php`).
- YouTube embed `E9wpku9WseE` (`index.php`).
- Cotomo subscribe endpoint `http://send.cotomo.com/subscribe`.
- Amazon SES SMTP endpoint `email-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com` port 587, TLS.
- External demo host `https://demo.quantivia.com`.
- Published dashboard host `156.38.136.112:9090` (URL shape matches a Zoho Analytics / Zoho Reports published page). Provenance of the product name: **Inferred** from `publishPage.do?method=getPublishedDashboard`.

## Current status

**Implemented** in git: a static-plus-PHP marketing site, last committed 2020-08-27, with no subsequent commits.

**Unknown / Requires Confirmation:**

- Whether `www.quantivia.com` still serves this tree, `website_new/`, or something else.
- Whether `demo.quantivia.com`, the installer URL, Cotomo, Amazon SES, and the dashboard host still work.
- Whether the FAQ's credit-card checkout ever existed outside this repository.
- Relationship between Procon8 (copyright and mail recipient domain) and the organisation that now owns the repository.
- Whether SMTP credentials committed in `mail/mail.php` and `website_new/mail/mail.php` have been rotated. Values are omitted from these documents. Treat them as exposed.

## Discrepancies to confirm

1. **Purchase path.** `support.php` says the product is bought by credit card on the website and a license number is emailed. `prices.php` shows every price as "On Request" and sends the visitor to `contact.php`. No payment code exists in this tree.
2. **License shape.** The FAQ says the license allows one dedicated computer. `prices.php` also describes Project (up to ten users) and Corporate (more than ten), plus SaaS where the customer does not own a license.
3. **Desktop versus web.** The FAQ says Quantivia runs on Windows XP through Windows 10 64-bit, or on a PHP web server. Silicon Ark's application sets describe an eGroupWare PHP application, not a Windows installer. This marketing repository does not contain either binary.
4. **Demo entry.** This site redirects to `auto_login.php?demo=true` and, on `thanks.php`, `?demo=ref`. `silicon_ark/quantivia/` and `silicon_ark/quantiviaLive/` record that `auto_login.php` is absent there. `silicon_ark/quantivia-clean/` and `silicon_ark/quantivia-svn/` document an `auto_login.php?demo` path. Which tree `demo.quantivia.com` serves was not re-checked in this task.
5. **Sitemap typo.** `sitemap.xml` lists `http://www.quantivia.com/why_www.quantivia.php`. The file on disk is `why_quantivia.php`.
6. **Broken company links.** `explanation.php` links to `casestudy_bombardier.php` and `casestudy_rtp.php`. Those files are not in the repository.
7. **Footer versus menu.** The footer label "View a live demo" points at `/demo.php` (the features page). The menu item "View live Demo" points at `viewdemo.php`.
8. **Home contact copy.** `form.php` asks about **Procon8**. The rest of the public pages ask about Quantivia.
