# Technical documentation — frontend-angular

Evidence date: 2026-10-13. Source: `git@bitbucket.org:overdrive/frontend-angular.git`, `master` at `293b020ad65910e77aa73ad81ed8dd724f28ae25`.

Provenance labels: **Documented**, **Implemented**, **Inferred**, **Planned**, **Unknown**.

No technical document existed in the repository or in `silicon_ark/frontend-angular/` before this file.

## What this repository is

A Bitbucket Git repository in the `overdrive` workspace with slug `frontend-angular`. On 2026-10-13 `master` contained one commit and one file.

Provenance: **Implemented** (clone, `git log`, `git ls-tree`).

It is not the Angular ImBank client documented under `silicon_ark/im_angular_app/`. That is a separate repository with its own history. That document set does not name this slug.

## Inspection method

1. `multica repo checkout` of this slug was refused: `repo is not configured for this workspace`. The tree was then cloned with `git clone https://bitbucket.org/overdrive/frontend-angular.git`. `git ls-remote` had already printed `293b020ad65910e77aa73ad81ed8dd724f28ae25` as `HEAD`.
2. `git status -sb` reported `## master...origin/master`.
3. `git branch -a` listed only `master` and `remotes/origin/HEAD -> origin/master`.
4. `git log --all` showed one commit. `git rev-list --all --count` printed `1`. `git tag -l` printed nothing.
5. `git ls-tree -r HEAD` listed `.gitignore` only.
6. The scan-host path `~/projects/sonar_scan/repos/frontend-angular` does not exist on this machine (`%USERPROFILE%\projects` is absent). The two filenames in OVER-137 were therefore not opened.
7. Bitbucket repository metadata through the Bitbucket API client returned HTTP 401, so project settings, default-branch configuration beyond `origin/HEAD`, and permissions were not read. Git's `origin/HEAD` still points at `origin/master`.

## Application structure

```text
frontend-angular/
└── .gitignore
```

No `src/`, `app/`, `projects/`, `angular.json`, tests, or infra directory exists in the remote. Local `.git/` after the clone is client metadata and is not a project source file.

## The only file

`.gitignore` is 50 lines. The first lines are comments:

- "These are some examples of commonly ignored file patterns."
- "You should customize this list as applicable to your project."
- A link to `https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/saving-changes/gitignore`.

Patterns that follow, grouped as the file comments group them:

| Comment in the file | Patterns |
|---|---|
| Node artifact files | `node_modules/`, `dist/` |
| Compiled Java class files | `*.class` |
| Compiled Python bytecode | `*.py[cod]` |
| Log files | `*.log` |
| Package files | `*.jar` |
| Maven | `target/`, `dist/` (second time) |
| JetBrains IDE | `.idea/` |
| Unit test reports | `TEST*.xml` |
| Generated by MacOS | `.DS_Store` |
| Generated by Windows | `Thumbs.db` |
| Applications | `*.app`, `*.exe`, `*.war` |
| Large media files | `*.mp4`, `*.tiff`, `*.avi`, `*.flv`, `*.mov`, `*.wmv` |

Provenance: **Implemented** (file contents at `293b020`).

**Inferred:** this is a host-generated starter ignore file, not an application-specific list. The commit message is `Initial commit`, the commit contains nothing else, and the header tells the reader to customize the examples. That inference does not identify Angular or any other language.

No stack is selected. Node, Java, Python, and Maven patterns appear together because the template lists them together. The presence of `node_modules/` and `dist/` is consistent with many Node tools, including Angular CLI builds, but the file does not mention Angular, and no `package.json` or `angular.json` exists to confirm that intent.

## Frameworks and languages

None declared. No source file exists from which a language could be identified. **Unknown / Requires Confirmation** what stack was intended, if any. The slug alone is not technical evidence of Angular.

## Runtime configuration

No `.env`, `environment.ts`, `angular.json`, appsettings, or config module is in git.

## Authentication

No application auth. Bitbucket access control for push and admin was not listed (API client returned 401). **Unknown / Requires Confirmation.**

## Data

No database, migration, schema, or local store.

## APIs

No HTTP route, client, or OpenAPI file.

## Background work

No worker, queue, cron, or pipeline definition. There is no `bitbucket-pipelines.yml`.

## Storage

No bucket, disk path, or upload handler.

## Build, environments, and scripts

No build script. No `Dockerfile`, `docker-compose`, `Makefile`, `ng` config, or host-specific config.

## Testing

No test runner and no tests. `TEST*.xml` appears only as an ignore pattern. There is nothing to execute.

## Security notes (observed, not a pentest)

No application surface is present, so there is no route, secret, or dependency to review. No credential file was in the tree. `.gitignore` does not list `.env`.

## Deployment and operations

**Unknown / Requires Confirmation.** Nothing in git names a host, a pipeline, a document root, or a monitoring system.

OVER-137 lists `sonar-project.properties` and `sonarqube_scan.bat` on the scan-host working tree. They are not in the remote, and their contents were not read. A Sonar project key, server URL, or scan command cannot be stated.

## Related repositories

| Repository | Relationship as evidenced | Provenance |
|---|---|---|
| `im_angular_app` | Separate repo. Silicon Ark docs describe a full Angular ImBank client. No file in this remote points at that repo, and the im_angular_app docs do not name this slug | **Unknown** whether they were meant to be one product or unrelated |
| Other `*-frontend` / `*Frontend` slugs in Silicon Ark | Separate directories under Silicon Ark; names do not match `frontend-angular` | **Unknown** whether any rename or migration was planned |

A Markdown search of Silicon Ark for `frontend-angular` before this directory returned no hits.

## Human confirmation

- Intended language, framework (including whether Angular was ever planned), and host, if this repository is still a planned codebase.
- Bitbucket project permissions.
- Contents of the scan-host Sonar files, if they are considered part of the project.
- Whether any part of `im_angular_app` or another frontend belongs with this slug.
