# Project plan — formulys-frontend

Evidence date: 2026-10-14.

Source repository: `git@bitbucket.org:overdrive/formulys-frontend.git` (`https://bitbucket.org/overdrive/formulys-frontend.git`).

Inspected revision: `main` at `e34274c` (2023-12-21, Jason Wandrag, "Initial boilerplate push"). `origin/HEAD` points at `main`. No other remote branches were present. The scan-host path `~/projects/sonar_scan/repos/formulys-frontend` was not on this machine. The tree below was read from a clone of that git revision. The app was not installed or run.

This plan describes what the repository contains. It does not decide what the product should become.

## Product

Three names are in git, and they do not match.

| Place | Name |
|---|---|
| Bitbucket slug and `package.json` `name` | `formulys-frontend` (`version` `0.0.0`, `private: true`) |
| `index.html` `<title>` | `Vite + React` |
| Login and sidebar image `alt` | `Simple Flow` |

`README.md` is the stock Vite + React template. It does not mention Formulys, Simple Flow, users, or workflows.

**Implemented.** A React 18 single-page app, built with Vite and Tailwind, that paints a side navigation and a login form. Every screen except login and the 404 page renders a one-word placeholder. The login form writes the typed username and password to the browser console and then clears the fields. It does not call a server.

A Zustand store in `src/store/authStore.js` sketches a `POST` to `https://rzkiqpzlxxtfqjl.form.io/user/login`. Nothing imports that store. The file does not parse (see technical documentation). Provenance of a working login: **not implemented**.

**Inferred** from the alt text "Simple Flow", the nav labels (Dashboard, Process Hub, Tasklist, Notifications, Messages, My Profile, Settings), the same Form.io host used by Silicon Ark `formulys_simpleflow`, and the author and date: this is an earlier shell for the Formulys SimFlow client. `formulys_simpleflow` starts later (2024-02-29, same author, commit subject "SimFlow Boilerplate UI") and implements those screens against Form.io. No document in this repository says that `formulys_simpleflow` replaced it.

**Unknown / Requires Confirmation:** product owner, customer, live URL, and whether this repository is still the intended front end.

## Branch reality

| Line | Tip | Date | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| `main` (only branch; `origin/HEAD`) | `e34274c` | 2023-12-21 | Vite React shell, placeholder pages, unused auth store |

The commit has no parent. History is that one commit by Jason Wandrag (`jasonwandrag@hotmail.com`). Nothing has been committed since 2023-12-21. No tags were present at inspection.

**Discrepancy:** the onboarding scan listed `sonar-project.properties` and `sonarqube_scan.bat` at the repository root. Neither file is in `e34274c`. Provenance: **Unknown** — they may have been untracked files on the scan host.

## Objectives (from the implementation, not from a written plan)

No milestone document, roadmap, or issue list is in the repository. The single commit message is "Initial boilerplate push". The screens that exist imply these intentions, marked **Inferred**:

- Show a branded shell (logo alt "Simple Flow") with navigation to dashboard, process hub, task list, notifications, messages, profile, and settings.
- Offer a login form, and leave a Form.io user-login call in an unused store.
- Leave register as an unrouted placeholder.

Nothing in git states success criteria, a release date, or a deployment target.

## Scope

### In this repository

- Vite + React 18 SPA, React Router 6, Zustand, Tailwind 3.
- Routes for home, process hub, task list, notifications, messages, profile, settings, login, and an unmatched-path 404.
- Side navigation hidden when the address is `/login` at the moment `App` renders.
- Login form with required username and password, logo, and a console log on submit.
- Unrouted `Register` page and `RegisterForm` component, both placeholders.
- Unused `authStore` and `constants.js` (Form.io host string, not exported).
- ESLint config and `npm run lint`. No test script.

### Not in this repository

- A working call from the login form to Form.io or to any other API.
- Route guards, roles, session restore, or logout in the UI.
- Form.io form definitions, process data, or a database client.
- `formulys_simpleflow`, `formulys_simpleflow_backend`, or `formulys-mobile-app`. Those are separate Bitbucket repositories. This tree does not import them.
- Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker, infrastructure-as-code, environment files, or a SonarQube project file.
- Automated tests.

## Current status

The repository is a boilerplate. The routed UI can be described from source without a server. The auth store cannot be loaded. No pipeline deploys it. Last change is 2023-12-21.

Silicon Ark `formulys_simpleflow` (tip `07cd01b`, 2024-06-21) is a later Vite app with the same Form.io host, overlapping screen names, and a real Form.io session. Whether that repository is the successor is **Unknown / Requires Confirmation**. `formulys-mobile-app` is a Pest Elite Expo app and does not share these screens.

## Human confirmation

1. Is `formulys-frontend` still an active product, or was it replaced by `formulys_simpleflow`?
2. Who owns it, who uses it, and is there a live URL?
3. Were `sonar-project.properties` and `sonarqube_scan.bat` ever part of this project outside git?
4. Was `authStore.login` meant to be called from `LoginForm`, and was `Register` meant to have a route?
5. Is the Form.io project on `rzkiqpzlxxtfqjl.form.io` the same project `formulys_simpleflow` uses?
