Evidence date: 2026-10-19.

Source repository: `git@bitbucket.org:overdrive/blindside.git`.

Inspected tip: `25a8c70` (2019-06-17, "new styling", Jaco Brits). That is the same commit named when this onboarding task was created. The only remote branch is `master`. There are no tags.

The path recorded at task creation (`~/projects/sonar_scan/repos/blindside`) was not present on the machine used for this pass. The evidence below is the Bitbucket clone of `master` at `25a8c70`.

This plan describes what the repository contains. It does not decide what the product should become.

## Product

The browser title is **BlindSide**. The application is a static HTML shell that loads fragments into `index.html`. The only screen with product-specific content is the dashboard:

- a chart titled "Tournament 2019"
- a table titled "Get Into Rugby"
- a calendar card titled "Plan & Budgets"
- a table titled "SARU Provincial EPG 2016 Form" listing provincial rugby unions and a status badge

The secondary navigation also names Members (labelled "Personel"), Organisastions, Forms, Plan and Budget (projects and grants), and Settings. Those entries are menus. Only the member list has more than a heading, and that list is theme sample cards.

The footer, changed in `2ef3f33` ("Update Styling"), reads "© 2015 - 2018. Evolv by EVOLVaV" and links to `http://evolvav.com`. The Limitless theme footer it replaced credited Eugene Kopyov. The page header still says "Good morning, Eugene". The user menu shows the name "Heinrich".

No README, project plan, or requirements document exists in the repository. What BlindSide, Evolv, EVOLVaV, and SARU are to each other is **Unknown / Requires Confirmation**. The expansion of "EPG" is **Unknown / Requires Confirmation**. The dashboard commit message calls the chart "fake data".

**Inferred** from the labels, not from a written objective: this repository is an early internal console for rugby-union administration (personnel, organisations, e-filing, grants, and a provincial form status list). That inference is not a confirmed product decision.

## Objectives

No objectives are written in the repository. The following are **Inferred** from the screens and the commit history:

- Show a signed-in shell with a dashboard of rugby tournament and provincial-form information.
- Provide navigation for personnel, organisations, e-filing forms, projects, grants, and settings.

### In the repository

- `index.html` — application shell (title BlindSide).
- `core/` — jQuery routes, empty or stub controllers, and HTML fragments for login, dashboard, members, and organisations.
- `template/` — Limitless Responsive Web Application Kit pages (74 HTML files). Three of them have the title BlindSide (`template/login.html`, `template/index_4.html`, and the root `index.html` is separate).
- `assets/` — theme CSS, JS, images, locales, SCSS, demo data, and SWF.
- `appspec.yml`, `scripts/`, `bitbucket-pipelines.yml`, `codedeploy_deploy.py` — CodeDeploy packaging on `master`.

### Not in the repository

- A backend. `core/routes/routes.js` posts to `api/login.php`. That file is not in git, and the request is unreachable (see the PRD).
- A database, schema, or migration.
- Tests, a README, a licence file for the product, or a changelog.
- `sonar-project.properties` and `sonarqube_scan.bat`. The task-creation scan listed both at the repository root. `git log --all` has no history for either path. **Unknown / Requires Confirmation** — they may have been untracked files on the scan host.
- `core/controller/main.js`, which `template/index_4.html` still loads.
- `login_password_recover.html` and `user_pages_profile.html`, which the login and member screens link to.

## Current project status

**Dormant front-end prototype.** Last change 2019-06-17. The running entry point is `index.html`. It shows a login card, then any click on the sign-in button opens the dashboard without checking credentials. Member add, organisation list, and organisation add are headings only. Forms, grants, projects, and settings menus have no pages.

Deployment files target Linux Apache at `/var/www/html/` via CodeDeploy. The pipeline reads `APPLICATION_NAME`, `S3_BUCKET`, `DEPLOYMENT_GROUP_NAME`, and `DEPLOYMENT_CONFIG` from the environment. Those values are not in the repository. Whether any environment still deploys this revision is **Unknown / Requires Confirmation**.

## Known dependencies

- Limitless theme assets checked into `assets/` and `template/` (jQuery, Bootstrap, Bootstrap Limitless, Icomoon, ECharts, FullCalendar, D3, Moment).
- Google Fonts stylesheet (`fonts.googleapis.com`, Roboto).
- Amazon Linux `httpd` (`yum` in `scripts/install_dependencies`).
- Bitbucket Pipelines image `python:3.5.7`, `boto3==1.3.0`, AWS S3 and CodeDeploy. Account and application names are not in git.

## Open items for human confirmation

- Whether BlindSide was a product name, a client project, or a demo, and how it relates to Evolv / EVOLVaV and to SARU.
- What "EPG" stands for, and whether the 2016 provincial form was a real workflow or sample content.
- Whether the chart series labels are an approved reporting taxonomy or only the fake data named in `a9ecc7e`.
- Whether the CodeDeploy application is still live, and what the pipeline variables were.
- Why the scan host listed Sonar files that git has never contained.
- Who the hardcoded header name "Heinrich" refers to, if anyone.
