# Task scope — Category taxonomy & filtering (TASK-004)

## Summary
Replace 7-bucket keyword mapping and hard-coded Flutter aisles with Ops-owned two-level taxonomy, guarded classifier, filtered catalogue API, and admin mapping tools.

## In scope
- Ops migrations, classifier, catalogue API, admin taxonomy extensions
- Flutter API-driven aisles, category screen UX
- Docs, unit tests (Flutter + Ops where vendor available)

## Out of scope
- Re-scraping retailers for better `category_raw`
- MySQL legacy API feature parity

## Verification
- `flutter test test/shop_categories_test.dart`
- Docker: `php spark migrate`, `php spark catalog:recategorise --dry-run`, PHPUnit
- Manual: Frozen, Drinks, Pet aisles show distinct products
